Welcome to My Story…

My name is Stuart Dennison, and I am an Attraction Marketing Coach in the Network Marketing Industry.  I grew up in the northeastern part of Ohio, USA (for my overseas people that may not be familiar) in a small town called Warren.  Where I lived til age 18.

At 18 years of age I did what a lot of young men do, I joined the military.  The United States Air Force.  I was stationed in Louisiana for four years, at Barksdale Air Force Base where I met a lot of great people, and made some long lasting friendships that I still have to this very day.

After my four year enlistment was up, I decided to come back to Ohio.  I got settled in and started working.  I always had that nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I just wanted more.  That is when the entrepreneurial spark was ignited inside of me, and boy did it burn.

The day I was introduced to Network Marketing…

I remember it like it was yesterday, lol.  I was working at MCI.  Yes, I was the guy that would call your house, and get you to switch your long distance so you could save money.  Well on this particular day I called the house of a lady by the name of Sandra, and what she said to me made so much sense I couldnt help but to take down her information.  She said ”Stuart if I could show you how you can do exactly what your doing now, but the people you sign up would be your very own customers and you will earn a monthly residual check from using your services does that sound like something that would be of interest to you?”  Now by no means am I a fool, of course I was interested.  I took her info down, and gave her a call later that evening when I got home…

A little Success mixed in with some Failure…

Needless to say it didnt take much convincing on her part to get me in the business, and when she started talking about the income potential my head started to spin.  This was it.  I shelled out my $500.00, and I was in the game.  I did as she said, I created my list of friends and family, made my calls and… Nada, zilch, nothing.  Hmmm… I didnt know what I was doing wrong.  So, I decided to focus on what I knew I could do, get customers.  At the time that I got started the company was having a contest that if you could get 30 customers within 30 days of getting started you would get a $500.00 bonus.  So I hit the ground running using their script, and a little bit of my own personality and BAM!  30 customers, and my $500.00 right back!  Not only that, but a cousin of mine saw what I was doing, saw the potential himself, and got on board also.

The day I took the stage with a millionaire…

My sponsor told me since I was so far from her (she lived in Huntsville, Alabama) it was very important that I try to attend as many meetings as I could.  So I did just that, whenever there was a meeting in Cleveland, Ohio I was there.  There was one meeting in particular she said she wanted me to attend, because the presenter was the top leader in my upline, and she wanted me to let him know I was there.  So I made sure I got there early, and introduced myself to him, and told him the story of how I got in the business.  He said stick around im gonna bring you up on stage so you can tell that story.  Whoa, before this, the largest group of people I ever spoke to was in my catholic highschool where we max out at about 24-30 people to a room.  Talk about being forced into overcoming a fear.  Just when I thought he had forgot about me, he looks over and calls me up.  I go on stage and tell my story.  I get a great applause and im hooked, lol, after the event was over all kinds of people are coming up to me, and wanting to exchange business cards and chat, it was a great feeling.  (Thank you Montrel)

I saw the BIG picture, but lacked the personal development needed to continue…

I realized that for this thing to work I had to emulate the people in the meetings, and training videos I faithfully purchased.  I came to the realization I had to start doing my own presentations.  So with that in mind, I contacted a highschool friend of mine whose parents owned a very nice Italian restaurant that my girlfriend at the time worked at, and asked if I could use the banquet hall to hold a meeting.  His parents gladly said yes, and didnt charge me a dime.  The day came, I got suited up, got in front of the room, and did my thing.  A lot of fellow distributors I didnt even know came from the neighboring city of Youngstown with guests.  Not one of my guests showed up…  Everyone loved my pesentation of the business opportunity.  So much so that the people in Youngstown said I could connect with them, as a member of their  team, and go to the upcoming big event in Atlantic City.   Which I did, but the disappointment from not having any of my guests show up really deflated my ambition for the opportunity.  I had a few cousins that kept at it though.

Fast forward to winter of 2009…

I have moved to the Columbus, Ohio area, and have been living here for about 6 years now, and one day my phone rings, I see the name, its one of my cousins, he rarely calls, but when he does I know what its about.  I figure what the heck, im not doing anything, lemme see what he’s got going on.  “Stuart, you wont believe this, I have found a great opportunity that is really working for me, and I know you can knock this one out of the park.”  “Im in the direct downline of the companies CEO, actually his brother is my sponsor, and he doesnt live far from you.  Meet up with him, and take a look at this for me.”  What could it hurt to take a look, I do just that, and sign up, but I know im not about to build this the old fashion way.

My business building research on the net begins…

I hopped online, and by what I call shear luck found myself  in the presence of some serious online business building mentors that were having the exact type of success that I wanted to have in my business.  I connected with them and they shared with me the system they were using to generate their own leads, as well as the many marketing strategies they were successfully implementing to generate upfront cash in their business.  They graciously have taken me under their wing and have shown me how to build my business  new millenium style, by leveraging the power of the internet.  If it wasnt for them I wouldnt be experiencing any of the success that I am having now.  I feel its my duty to share this same information, and system, with as many struggling networkers out there that I can to let them know there is a better way to build your business if the old school methods arent working for them like they didnt work for me.  My mentors where kind enough to take an interest in me, and share the knowledge, its only right that I do the same for as many people as I can.
