There are many ways to get traffic to your site.  Im going to go into detail on a unique strategy that works like a charm.  Now this isn’t for the faint of heart or the lazy of home based business owners.  This is going to take some effort on the part of the user so if you like push button automation your going to have to wait til I let you know the name of the software that gets this done.  It does cost a couple of dollars, sooooo… If your strapped on a budget roll your sleeves up and lets get ready to do some work!

Im going to do my best to make this as clear as watching the most expensive HD tv at your favorite electronics store.  Simply because I hate when I cant follow what someone else is teaching.  Ok so lets get started on how you can start getting some of this free traffic that everyone using article marketing is getting.

Of course im going to take in consideration you already know what a keyword is.  I hope im not losing anyone already… Lol.  Ok so you have your niche keyword that your going to rank for.  The first thing your going to need to do is get some articles, about 7-10 of them to be exact.  The best thing would be to create yourself some original content, or pay to have some original articles written.  Another thing you could do is write some content and spin it, of course making sure that it is spun to the point of original and not duplicate content.  If you don’t know what spinning content means it means taking a article and rewording it throughout the entire article so it says the same thing but is worded differently so it doesn’t look like a copy of the original in the eyes of the search engines.

For those of you that have a problem with this, think of it as NBC running a high profile news story and then CBS runs the same story.  Should they not run their story because NBC already covered it?  Absolutely not!  Its the same content but put out differently and there is nothing wrong with that!

Ok  back to business, now that you have your keyword go to google and google “keyword tool”.  Click on the google keyword tool link and try to find some sub niche keywords as well.  To maximize your efforts you want to be on the first page of google asap!  What we are doing now is looking for low competition keywords that are getting traffic for your niche.  You want anything with a 1000 or more searches a month which is pretty good and we want the competition to be under 50,000.  What under 50,000? You could go for higher but you would just need to do more work.  If you follow what im telling you hear in this article this will get you where you want to be if your competition is 50,000 or less!  To find out your competition all  you need to do is google your keyword with parentheses around it.  You can continue doing this with as many keywords as you can come up with for your niche til you build yourself a nice size list of keywords to target!  I hope I haven’t lost anyone.

Ok Stuart where is the secret ninja trickery?  Hold on im getting to it!  Ok now that you have your keywords and your ready to rock, the next thing your going to need to do is join some social networking sites.  Instead of listing them here just  make sure you have the onlywire pugin downloaded to your blog they have enough there, and they are all free and you know how we all love FREE!!  The next thing your going to need is a nice size list of ping sites to ping your posts to. WordPress blogs will automatically ping after each post but it only sends to ping-o-matic so here is a list to add to your wordpress blog or  manually for other blogs or websites that may not be wordpress. The list is at the bottom of the post.

Just by pinging to all of those sites after every post  you will start to see a flow of free traffic starting to come in but we can’t stop there.  The next step is to start to  leverage the web 2.0 sites.  Since google has done there algorithm changes a lot of the sites that once were great are not so much any more…  If  your not sure what web 2.0 sites are its sites like Hubpages and Squidoo.  You want to join at least 6 of these sites but of course more is better.  The list of web 2.0 sites are at the bottom of the post as well.  There are a heck of a lot more out there but these are all do follow!! What does that mean to you? They share there link juice giving your site increased power as well for having a link on them.  Just what the doctor ordered.

Alright what we are going to do now is correctly build a “linkwheel” to your main site.  When done correctly this tactic that im about to share with you along with the icing on the cake ninja trick should catapult you to the top of the search engines no problem!

This is a long process but the results are well worth it!  By looking at the picture to the bottom left you will see that we have our main site in the middle.  Our web 2.0 sites are linking to the main site and also to the next web 2.0 site next to it.  The more web 2.0 authority sites linking back to your main site the faster you will get to the top spot on the first page in the search engines.

For each link wheel that you use, use at the least 6 web 2.0 sites as shown in the picture diagram.  Ok so you now have your web 2.0 sites picked out that your going to use?  Ok here is where it gets a bit exciting, lol.  Pick one keyword from your list of keywords make sure that each one of your web 2.0 sites has a article posted to it with keyword rich content, also make sure that the keyword is in the hyper link for that article as well as in the title for the article.  Use that keyword as the anchor text back to your site.  I hope I haven’t lost anyone.  Don’t forget to ping all your web 2.0 sites that you create to the ping sites at the bottom of this post.  If you can, it really helps if you social bookmark them as well!  Now there is another step that really takes time, but like I told you before there is a way to automate this process.  That I will share with you later.  But if your like me when I started and don’t have a lot of money to spare your gonna have to do the work, besides little work never hurt anyone!  Take one of the web 2.0 sites and make it the center of a linkwheel.

Ok so what have we got so far?  We have a low competition keyword, wrote an article about it on our main site, created a link wheel around it, pinged and social bookmarked them all, and even though your probably sick of looking at your screen by now, there’s still something left to do.

Ninja Secret Tactic

Think of a question with that keyword in it. Now go to these 3 sites and create 2 accounts at each.

blurtit.com / answers.yahoo.com / wiki.answers.com

Simple enough strategy, ask the question with one account, answer it with a link back to your site with the other! Works like a dream, and sometimes I have heard of people getting ranked instantly! These 3 sites have a HUGE amount of authority.

There is one thing that I learned early on and am still seeing how it works now.  Everything that you do online is marketing. 6 Parts To My Story Marketing

The first 2 parts to my story marketing is YOUR picture, and Lifestyle Marketing with the pictures on your blog and social media sites like facebook.  In this day and age of reality tv, voyeurism into the next persons life has reached an all time high.  So it should come as no surprise that people will look through your pictures and want to live vicariously through you.  Whenever you can show off your social lifestyle it draws people in and makes them feel like they are getting to know and connecting with you a little bit more intimately.  So get out there with your camera start snapping pictures of you and your family and friends on vacation or swimming or just down right doing what you like to do.  Chances are since the world is our market you will find someone that is interested in the same things as you.

The 3rd part to my story marketing is in The Bio.  In your bio you want to explain who you are, I would say something like, Hi my name is Stuart Dennison creator of StuartLDennison.com and owner of mlmleadsasap.com.  Explain a little bit about why you do what you do.  Go into the struggles that you had, and why you decided to go for it.

The 4th part is where you go into the solutions to the problems that you were facing.  I discovered a system and community of people that helped me to get my business on track.  I was surrounded by like minded individuals that were looking to reach some of the same goals I had.  Talk about how you began to work on developing yourself becoming a valuable resouce and leader and a all around better person.

The 5th part to the equation is all about the end result of your efforts.  You can put something like, you discovered how to change others peoples lives and in return have changed your own to begin to start to realize some of your goals and dreams.

Network marketing prospecting is the lifeblood of the network marketing industry as a whole.  The art of prospecting has been shown to many as well as shrouded in mystery.  We are going to take a look at ways of prospecting that have been successful in the past as well as take a look at what is working RIGHT now!  Sit back and prepare to gain some insight!!

Network Marketing Prospecting From The Past

One of my successful mentors told me a story a while ago about how things were done in the past to reach as many people as possible.  Get ready for this.  In the past he used a network marketing prospecting system to bring people into his business.  A system you may say? Yes, and listen to how it worked.  He would place tiny ads in papers and magazines.  In that ad he would give a quick blurb with a phone number for the person to call.  That was step one of the system.  Step two, the person calls the phone number gets more info and leaves his or her information to get even more info sent out.  Now when this person gets the information who do you think they are going to see in the information?  YOU!  When the person gets your information they look it over see you as a leader within the company and decide wether to get in contact with you, or he would get in contact with them.  Most of the time if they are contacting him they were already ready to get in business.  BOOM a system! The more you scale out your advertising the bigger your numbers the higher the chance to connect with people that will join.  Ingenious, to bad I didn’t know this when I first got involved in the industry.  Im sure your probably thinking the same thing.  How can you compete with that by just contacting family and friends? Fast forward to now…

Network Marketing Prospecting In The 21st Century

So how does the 21st century marketer go about his network marketing prospecting?  He leverages the power of the internet to build his business.  A prospect may see the 21st century marketer on internet providing valuable information on some aspect of the network marketing industry.  Which sets the marketer apart from the masses right off the bat.  Once the prospect begins to see the marketer online they begin to seek out more information from the marketer, maybe by going to their blog, their youtube channel, maybe even their facebook to become friends.  As they see the marketer providing more and more valuable content they decide they want to be trained by the marketer so they opt-in to one of his or her websites.  Part one of “the system”.  Now that they have viewed the training and have hopefully gotten more value.  They are starting to receive emails from the marketer, of course they are opening them because they want to learn.  These emails are sharing all kinds of business building tips, and tools.  I hope you didn’t miss that sentence.  You see if the prospect never joins the marketers business he may still buy a tool to help him or her in their business.  You just made money from someone that didn’t join you in business! Congrats, being able to help others is fun, rewarding and a payday!  This is just one aspect of 21st century network marketing prospecting with the premier marketing system that the professionals use!

Some things never change in network marketing prospecting and some things do.  “The system” is something that everyone needs, we all know this.  A duplicatable system is what has been ingrained in us as network marketers.  You must incorporate things that everyone can do.  When you first get in the industry your told not to try and sell but to pique interest and get the person to either, a event, a three way phone call, or a prerecorded call for someone else to do the hard work for you.  Everyone can do that its duplicatable! Today the professional marketers are doing the same thing my mentor did in the past except they are using todays technologies, no ads in papers they are placed on the internet.  We don’t send out snail mail we send out e-mails.  You no longer have to do pre-recorded calls you can leverage the internet, make a video, and blast it out to as many people as possible which is much better for connecting and making relationships.  Many of the top internet marketers are leveraging a system that lets them brand themselves and also provides a community of internet network marketers so your not alone on your journey anymore.  Don’t you deserve to be using a  21st century network marketing prospecting system in your business?

Its been so long since I have actually seen Dave… We worked together when we were in highschool, became good friends and hung out.  One day last year I logged into the back of my MLSP marketing system.  Which by the way is the best non-branded marketing system on the planet.  Hint, hint, its how I have been able to collect mailbox money! Oxygen4Energy, what is that? I couldn’t believe my eyes! Im at the Arnold Classic here in my beautiful city of columbus, Oh walking around with my buddy Dave Dubbs when he points out a booth and says look over there, that company is a network marketing company.  Wait… What? Are you serious? In a event full of conventional supplement companies there is a network marketing company holding its own.  I had to take a closer look and this is what I found.

Oxygen4Energy has jumped into the direct selling arena in a non competitive market.  Well at least I haven’t come across any other direct selling companies selling oxygen as yet.  Everyone knows that oxygen is vital to our survival.  Oxygen is also vital for our muscle recovery.  Its been said you can go up to 40 days without food, 4 days without water, but only 3 minutes without oxygen.

Just recently the company product made its way onto the Strike Force scene in houston, Texas.  The two headline fighters King Mo Lawal and KJ Noons both were using Oxygen4Energy in between rounds of their fight.  This actually caused quite a stir with the fans going to blogging sites questioning the legality of using oxygen.  It turns out that its actually legal, which is great for the company and its distributors.  The MMA scene is very popular and growing which gives them a great market segment to bring into the direct selling industry.

While I was doing my research further into the company I came across their facebook fan page.  I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I read the caliber of athlete using the product.  They have some serious world class athelete’s  using and endorsing the product.  From US world record holders to recreational cyclists.  Everyone is singing the praises of this great products and its effects.

The next thing I wanted to check out was the compensation plan.  What type of income can you stand to make with this opportunity and what I found is that they have a simple compensation plan for the beginner that rewards them for their volume of sales as the sales of the distributors they bring in.  Nothing to different from the norm except that they are going to pay infinitely.  There is nothing I like better than hearing your going to pay me infinitely no matter if I stop working as long as the organization keeps producing I can get paid a percentage of everyones sales!

In the world of internet network marketing we are always looking for ways to brand, market and get the word out about various things that we are doing.  Since the roll out of the new facebook design there seems to be some new marketing real estate that is not being maximized by many at all.  You may have seen it, you may have even changed some things around on it.  But did you ever think to use it as marketing space?  If your not sure what im talking about take a look below at some of the pics in this post.

I actually found some creative ways for the space to be used and im almost 100% positive that you can come up with some creative ways to use it for marketing purposes and thats why im getting the word out.  I can’t wait to see what kinds of techniques come out of this new real estate on facebook once we start tweeking around with it.

If you haven’t realized by now the new facebook marketing real estate im talking about are the 5 boxes to the right of your facebook picture that sit on top of your wall.  I started noticing that people were using them to form one picture that was just broken up into the 5 boxes.

The site that I found that will take any picture you give them and break it up into the boxes and make sure they stay in those spots is called fbanner.com.  Im sure there are others out there but that is the first one I found. I decided to use my boxes for what I consider as “branding” space, so I put the header image from my blog and spread it across the five boxes.

A Facebook Change I Can Agree On

As I sat back and reveled at what I had done I thought to myself, what if someone where to click on the images..?  Hmmm… Maybe I should put a little bit of copy and the link to my blog on each picture so no matter which box they click on they all say the same thing with a link to my blog.  Ingenious I thought, and so I did it.  Then I thought to myself..? What if I used a pic that had a call to action in it? Or maybe 5 different pics with calls to action on them all with different copy leading to different things?  Whoa? Was I on to something?  This could get crazy you could do all kinds of things with the boxes, hold contests for the first 20 people that click the bullseye picture (just an example) and follow through the link.  Easter is coming up you could possibly hide something in a link under one of the pics and tell your facebook friends the first one to find the link on your facebook page… The possiblities are endless as to what you could do with them.

Wait… What? Google had a algorithm change?  They sure did.  What was the change? How it could possibly affect your business, and what you can do going forward to make sure you are putting your “best post” forward when your  submitting your content to the mighty search engine we know as Google.

The google algorithm change of feb 24, 2011 could possibly be the biggest change the giant search engine has undergone.  It’s only launched in the United States so far, and its main objective is weeding out low quality sites.  As any good business knows customer service is number one, and they want the best information possible to be given to their users.  So low quality sites beware!  Check out a little excerpt from the Official Google Blog:

Many of the changes we make are so subtle that very few people notice them. But in the last day or so we launched a pretty big algorithmic improvement to our ranking—a change that noticeably impacts 11.8% of our queries—and we wanted to let people know what’s going on. This update is designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sites—sites which are low-value add for users, copy content from other websites or sites that are just not very useful. At the same time, it will provide better rankings for high-quality sites—sites with original content and information such as research, in-depth reports, thoughtful analysis and so on.

What Does This Mean To YOU?

If you have been doing article marketing one of the ways to get articles ranked is to post on authority sites then back link to those sites to rank faster and quicker.  Well the algorithm change took place on the 24th and as I have been watching my articles some have stayed where they were.  Some have dipped, but my blog posts all seem to have stayed or risen.  I dont really see any definite method to the madness at this time a lot of things seem to be doing the infamous google dance.  I guess only time will tell.

Google seems to be weeding out what they call “Content Farm” sites.  These are sites that get paid to have large volumes of content on them.  Unfortunately some of these sites are monitoring what is being posted and the content is not as google deems of “high quality”.  To stop this these sites will start to see a drop in their authority on the search engine rankings.  Lets hope none of these sites are any of the sites we have come to enjoy posting and seeing our work rise to the top of the search engine results.  This big shift not only effects end users but also the competitors of Google.  If you see your competition cleaning house and getting rid of all the search engine clutter it makes sense for you to do some house cleaning as well.  Yahoo, and Bing will have to do something to stay current or fall behind as their search results aren’t deemed as trustworthy as their competitors.

So what does it all mean?  It means their is void that only original quality content can fill.  You will never ever go wrong by posting original quality content.  That is after you watch my video and learn the secret blue print that google wants you to follow known as on page optimization.  You cant control algorithm changes or if your favorite article submission site closes its doors, but you can control your on page optimization and in this video your going to discover the secrets needed to make sure your posts are considered high quality in googles eyes!
